This Privacy Policy explains how Locava collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use the Locava mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

  • Account — a unique account created for you to access parts of our Service.

  • Application / App — Locava.

  • Company — Locava.

  • Country — Egypt.

  • Personal Data — any information that identifies or can identify an individual.

  • Service Providers — third parties who process data on our behalf.


1. Information we collect

Personal Information

We may collect information you provide when creating an account or placing an order, including your name, email address, and phone number.

Location

With your permission we may collect location information to show nearby products or delivery options.

Camera & Photos

The App may request access to your camera or photo library to upload images (for example, profile photos). You can disable these permissions in your device settings.

  • To provide, operate, and improve the App and our services.

  • To process and fulfill orders, handle payments, and arrange deliveries.

  • To communicate with you about your account, orders, and support requests.

3. Payments

Locava supports the following payment methods:

  • Cash on delivery

  • Online payments via Fawaterak — our integrated payment gateway partner.

When you make a payment using Fawaterak, transaction-related information (such as transaction ID, amount, and status) is processed by Fawaterak in accordance with their privacy practices. Locava does not store your full card or banking details.

4. Sharing & disclosure

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who assist in operating the App (e.g., hosting, analytics, delivery partners).

  • Our payment partner, Fawaterak, for processing online transactions.

  • Authorities if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.


5. Data retention & security

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
While we use commercially reasonable security measures to protect data, no electronic system is completely secure. Please exercise care when sharing sensitive information.

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information via the App or by contacting us.

  • Disable location, camera, or photo permissions in your device settings.

  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.


7. Children

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.


8. Links to other sites

The App may contain links to third-party sites (including payment providers). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review third-party policies before providing personal information.


9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy in the App and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
